Dr. Bist brings years of entrepreneurial, leadership and Intellectual Property domain experience to the founding team of AshmarIP. In 1999, he co-founded VxTel that was acquired by Intel for $550 Million in cash. Dr. Bist has held various technical and management positions in companies such as Intel, Conexant Systems, Rockwell Semiconductor Systems and AT&T Bell Labs. He holds over 20 US patents and has several other patents pending, and is a past recipient of IEEE Capocelli award for paper in Data Compression Conference.

Mr. Rakesh Malaviya holds a mammoth experience of more than 35 years in Corporate Marketing in various industry verticals. A blend of unique sales acumen and extraordinary marketing skills, depict his impressive success record. Mr. Malaviya has worked in wide ranging fields of corporate management in companies like Sarabhai Ltd., Inalsa (Shriram Group). He has been associated with international brands like Georgia (Coca Cola) & Glaxo Smithkline. His entrepreneurial journey includes NexGenEduServe, a leading educational content service provider in India.

Dr. Pant holds a Ph.D. in computational physics, along with a professional law degree, and has been a practitioner in the fields of Law, IT enabled education and IT implementation. Prof. Pant has been the Former Pro-Vice Chancellor, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), India and has been on the faculty of IIT, Kanpur and visiting professor at University of Western Ontario-Canada. He has been visiting scientist to research centers in Italy, England, Germany and Sweden. He is also founder and Chairman of Planet Edu, one of the largest educational services company in India.

Mr. Bialy brings years of entrepreneurial, sales, and marketing experience to the AshmarIP management team. He has many year’s experience in business development, sales, and account management, selling products and services for small and large corporations. His startup experience includes Nutek Corporation that provides medical device sterilization services, and another company that grew to over a million dollars a month in eighteen months.

Mark is responsible for business development within the start-ups, universities, corporates, law firms and venture capital communities. Prior to working at AshmarIP, Mark worked in the finance industry for over 20 years. He has a technical degree in Aerospace Engineering from San Diego State University.

Coupled with his business development and sales acumen, Arie’s background allows him to identify emerging opportunities and negotiate unique positions for his clients in multiple markets, including high tech, biotechnology, green tech, and consumer products. For over a decade, as an executive manager for publicly traded companies, Arie managed professional services and ran P&L operations with sales responsibility for publicly traded software vendors.

Henry J. Cittone litigates intellectual property disputes in federal courts and prepares and prosecutes patent applications before the United States Patent & Trademark Office for clients from various industries, including the software, 3-D television, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical imaging, alternative energy and fluid delivery industries. His litigation experience, both defending and asserting patents, provides clients with unique insight when seeking their own intellectual property rights.

Mr. Lalani is a veteran high-tech executive with a successful track record spanning both Silicon Valley venture funded start-ups as well as multi-national IP intensive corporations like GE and Alcatel-Lucent (ALU). He was head of marketing of one of ALU’s largest North American division taking it from $350M to $1.2B in annual revenue. He is currently also on the staff of X/Seed capital, the country’s premier seed venture funds.

Dr. Kalara is a veteran IP and Business attorney and has specialized legal and business experience with large international law firms, multi- media companies and emerging companies. He is a frequent lecturer and media commentator on legal and business issues. Formerly, Dr. Kalara was with the law firm of O’Melveny & Myers LLP, in their Los Angeles office, where his practice was focused on IP counseling, business litigation and technology transactions. He is licensed to practice before the US Patent and Trademark office and is a Certified Licensing Professional.

Mr. Businger is practicing IP Lawyer in New Jersey, USA. He has over 30 years of practicing law experience. His prior experience included technical positions at AT&T Bell Labs, New Jersey. He holds a MS in computer science from Stanford University, a Ph.D. in mathematics from University of Texas, Austin, and a J.D. from Seton Hall University, Newark, New Jersey

Dr. Ortega is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at University of Southern California. He is a world-renowned researcher in the field of multimedia and video processing. He has been involved in innovating and commercializing technologies from his lab for last two decades. He has also been involved as founder and advisors for several start-up companies.
